The feathers are locally sourced, largely from our back garden, dropped by Rainbow Lorikeets feeding on our native ‘Firewheel’ tree in bloom throughout summer time and loved by these birds.
The feathers are cleaned before use and are glued into, and clamped in place with, a decorative bracket as pictured.
